Project Progress

The website will be hosted by bfi Steiermark and is open for dissemination activities. The reactions of the product developed have been very positive right from the beginning on and we want to keep the network alive! The national project ISIS of bfi Steiermark has trained two more tutors for Thunder assistance and has fully adopted the screenreader in the range of ISIS-articles.

Please find attached a short overview about the things happened so far within the project:

August 08: The final report was delivered to the Agency in time.

June 08: In the last month of the DICOMP-S.net project the partners disseminate the developed products. The activities can be found on News.

May 08: European Conference at Sight City in Frankfurt (8th - 10th of May 08). For more information about Sight City, please visit: http://www.sightcity.net/index-d.html. The 4th transnational meeting will take place in Frankfurt parallel with Sight City.

April 08: Partners translated the inputs on ATutor - database is fully available on http://www.fue-bfw-dueren.de/ATutor/login.php

March 08: Content on ATutor finished - partners will translate the inputs till end of April. Set up of a user-questionnaire - guest login can be found on the project website to test Thunder. Various Thunder versions (BETA-versions, without synthesiser) can be downloaded from the project website (please see "Download-area")

February 08: Content on ATutor overworked - partners started to translate the ATutor Content.
Start with the organization of the European Conference which will take place at Sight City in May 08.

November – December  2007: Virtual meeting of the nominated tutors on the Atutor plattform – test of the system – exchange of individual experiences with e-learning courses – discussing open questions about Thunder
Carrying out short presence training for the tutors
Thunder translation work into Estonian.
WebbiE works in German, Italian and French. Estonian and Slovakian WebbIE version available (short instruction)
